About the College
The Faculty of Sciences of Dhi Qar University was established in 2000-2001
The number of students studying at the time (167) was divided into four scientific sections, to become in 2019 five scientific sections

Pathological analyzes
Applied geology
The Faculty of Science / University of Dhi Qar is located in the area of Al-Shamia near Nasiriyah Park
– Postgraduate studies (Masters and PhD) have been developed in sections

The college has 11 laboratories and 4 theoretical halls for postgraduate studies
As well as 20 laboratories and 28 classrooms for primary morning and evening classes. The Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Dhi Qar was awarded the title of best college in Dhi Qar University in the academic year 2014-2015.
The college graduated thirteen Bachelor’s, nine Master’s, eight Life Science and three Master’s in Physics. And one PhD Chemistry
